Feria de Julio in Valencia - More to do than you'll ever have time for!
It's July and that means Feria de Julio in Valencia - a month of concerts, fireworks, cinema, funfairs, bullfighting, dance, Jazz and the famous Battle of the Flowers all over the city, from the Historic Centre to the Beach. You are spoilt for choice, there is so much going on. FULL TIMETABLE HERE

Zaragoza Expo 2008 - Barbara O'Neill visits this new expo, which opened its doors to the public last week. The theme is Water and Sustainability but Barbara finds it a little dry and very warm HERE

America's Cup 33
There's movement on the America's Cup, Is it a good thing? More here from our sailing correspondent Mike O'Neill.

The Formula One Urban circuit nearing completion! It will now all be ready for The Formula 3000 Spanish Championship on the 26 and 27th July. The weekend will be a great test for the circuit, the organisers say and tickets (between 20 and 60 euros) will go on sale around the 01 July through Servientrada and El Corte Inglés The Formula One weekend begins Friday 23 August. If you haven't got accommodation yet and intend to watch the racing - the city is nearly full for the weekend so check out our hotel booking button or contact us for information on bed and breakfasts in and around the city - tickets which went on sale April 01, 2008 are now sold out - but there's talk of more seats being built and therefore more tickets! Watch this space!

Iggy Pop to launch music programme at motor box experience
Iggy Pop and Spanish group Seguridad Social will be the lead artists and Los Vicentes will be playing as a support band. The programme will finish off with a live DJ session featuring Tali Arenao from Lanzarote, Kike Louie and El Gato (Roberto El Gato), who will bring this first evening of music and rock to a close. Rock and Jazz and FolkConcerts in Comunidad Valenciana

Van Morrison fans will have to wait till 22/23 June to see him perform with his big band at the Auditorio de Castellon, originally scheduled for end of January.

We announced recently that Bob Dylan would be playing here in Valencia in July. It now looks like the nearest he'll be coming to Valencia will be to Cuenca on the 1st of July and Alicante on the 2nd. But watch this space - it could all change!

The Police have a Valencia date at the Levante Football ground on July 02, 2008 - support is apparently Paolo Nutini
