Unlike other European countries, Spain prefers its films dubbed. They pride themselves on having the best dubbing in the world. So it's harder here than in the rest of Europe to see a film in VOS or original version. Until very recently in Valencia it was almost impossible to see anything but an art film, in Madrid or Barcelona it is much easier. It is slowly changing and we present here the Cinemas where you might just get to see the film you want in VOS.

5. KINEPOLIS • Heron City - CV35 Actually this cinema has now stopped showing blockbuster films in their original version, they tell us that it's their distributor's decision due to underwhelming response. However, the main problem was that they never advertised the film on show and it was impossible to get information from them by phone on what was showing. They began showing original version films because of a petition we put together with the International Women's Club which many of you signed - we think it's time to petition them again and to get them to advertise the films this time - if you agree send us an email by clicking here -or to nodubbing@thisisvalencia.com - we need you to supply your full name, address and nie/nif or passport number. thanks. Click on box five for their site.
6. INSTITUT FRANÇAIS DE VALENCIA • C/ Moro Zeit, 6. 96 315 30 95 The Fench Institute regularly shows excellent French films - usually on a wednesday - but visit anyway for a look at the current exhibition or an espresso in their excellent café. Click on box six for their site.
